"The local folk rock act Snakebeard Jackson has posted a trio of new songs on its MySpace page. The sounds come from the band’s forthcoming album which, according to a mass email from the Snakebeard crew, will have a release date “soon.”

In the meantime sate your old-timey/rock cravings with these songs come with titles straddling the world of folk aesthetic (”Tin Shack Mansion”) and rock idolatry (”Buzzin“)."

In the meantime, check us out Saturday, August 18th out at Newton Hills State Park south of Canton, SD, where we played last weekend at Folk Fest, for our own Saturday night show. We All Have Hooks For Hands kicks off the night! BYOB, state park admission required. It's probably a good idea to get yourself a campsite for the night. Also we are excited to play at Crow Fest on Saturday, August 25th. The Crow Bar celebrates it's 50th anniversary with an outdoor music romp and we play at 2ish in the afternoon.
